Tastes and colors can be discussed and everyone will appreciate the design of the mobiles we have chosen between Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G, Samsung Galaxy A34 5G and Google Pixel 6a. The latter has a stripe across the entire width of the device to incorporate the image sensors on the back. The Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G has a panel in the upper left corner for the lenses while the Samsung Galaxy A34 5G offers a very clean look with sensors that appear to just sit on the back cover in a light texture.
Of the three, the Google mobile is the most compact. It is also the lightest, weighing 178 grams, compared to 187 grams for the Xiaomi phone and 199 grams for the Samsung phone. What gives the best performance?

If you are looking for the mobile phone that provides the most computing power, Google Pixel 6a is the one you choose because it is equipped with the Tensor chip that was developed in cooperation with Google. It beats the Galaxy A34 5G and Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G which share the same processor, MediaTek Dimensity 1080 linked to 6GB of RAM (to stay within the budget). Both Samsung and Xiaomi cell phones provide the virtual RAM boost feature. For storage, count on the Samsung’s 128GB expandable space but not on the other models in this comparison.

All three devices are 5G compatible. The Galaxy A34 5G is Wi-Fi 5. Rely on Wi-Fi 6, which is more efficient on the Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G and Wi-Fi 6E, and even better on the Google Pixel 6a.
Xiaomi has the advantage of introducing an infrared transmitter to make it a universal remote control. It’s also the only one with an audio port for connecting headphones. Its fingerprint reader sits on profile while it sits below the screen of the other two devices. These have the advantage of being IP68 certified and therefore completely waterproof and dustproof, while only a Xiaomi mobile phone can withstand splashes.

What is the most interesting screen and what are the configurations for the images?

The most interesting display installed on Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G. In fact, it benefits from a 6.67-inch AMOLED panel with a frequency of 120Hz and compatibility with Dolby Vision video format. The Samsung screen also has a 120Hz refresh rate but at 6.6 inches with a notch, also on an AMOLED panel. The Pixel 6a’s screen is only 6.1 inches, hence its compression at just 60Hz, and therefore less smooth than the other two.
Finally, for photos, the Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G has a 50 + 8 + 2 MP configuration on the back against the 48 + 8 + 5 MP on the back of the Samsung Galaxy A34 5G with an optically stabilized main sensor. Google Pixel 6a is powered by a 12.2MP dual stabilization sensor with a 12MP wide-angle lens. For selfies, the Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G is equipped with a 16MP front camera compared to the 13MP unit on the front of Samsung and the 8MP unit on the front of the Pixel 6a.
