Frontenx. School, a space of well-being and respect

The municipality’s technical teams worked during the summer to install new equipment for the school. Starting with the outdoor spaces, which got a new look. In addition to expanding the multi-sports area between the nursery and primary schools, green spaces, benches, picnic tables and agility games now adorn the spaces. Under the elementary school playground, climbing stands have been added, as well as three bookcases. On the playground side, new toys and patterns on the floor should keep kids happy again during recess.

Regarding enrollment, the slight increase this academic year confirms the continuity of all classes. Among the new students, who had not yet been counted at the time of writing, Ukrainian students will return to Frontinex. About ten in total, divided between middle schools, kindergartens, and elementary schools.

In kindergarten, an unusual organization has established itself

Currently, the numbers are distributed as follows: 22 students in CP, 26 in CE1, 20 in CE2/CM1, 24 in CM1, 19 in CM2. As for the educational project, it always focuses on good morals and respect for humans and the environment. Students will be holding a “stick together” walk shortly after the start of the school year in the Baugue district.

We know that there are three levels in kindergartens: a small section, a medium section, and a large section. At Frontenex, the team has chosen for several years to combine students from all three levels into each class. These are three groups of about twenty students who, throughout their kindergarten education, will stay together and with the same teacher. An organization that has benefits only depending on the teams: everyone learns at their own pace, and the older ones are a role model for the younger ones. Mutual aid and kindness are the driving forces behind this organization.
