Football. New Zealand winger Joe Ravuffo signs a two-year contract with Oyonax
It’s a weight-loss boost that will be joining the workforce at Oyonnax. The Pigs Club announced, on Wednesday, the arrival of winger Joe Ravuffo, from Aveyron Bayonne, for the next two seasons.
From July, Bayonne player Joe Ravuffo (1.90m and 105kg) will officially be Oyonnaxien. The 32-year-old Fiji-born New Zealander will bolster the squad over the next two years. This winger with a well-stocked résumé had his moments of glory in rugby sevens, with over 100 selections for the New Zealand side and above all his World Cup victory, in 2018, where he was named Player of the Tournament and Mark of the Tournament.
38 appearances and 12 tries for Bayonne
In the world of rugby union, he distinguished himself in the counties of Auckland and the Bay of Plenty, before joining France and Aveyron Bayonne, with whom he played a season in the top 14 and then in the Pro D2 (scoring 38 matches and 12 tries).
