Since Tuesday, 1,800 hectares of forest have burned on the island of Tenerife. In Germany, unprecedented flooding has paralyzed the airport and downtown Frankfurt.
Tenerife turned into a fire. Since Tuesday, a fire has been raging on this island, known for its forests and valleys. 4,000 people have been evacuated and several roads have been closed as a precaution. Authorities say the fire is out of control.
“The works and operations carried out throughout the night were very difficult. This was probably the most difficult fire we have had in the Canary Islands, if not ever, at least in the last 40 years.” announce Fernando Clavijo, President of the Canary Islands.
