Exhibition “Human Nature” by Baptiste Luprino from 8 to 23 April 2023 at Espace Saint-Ravi

Espace Saint-Ravy is pleased to welcome the artist Baptiste Luprianu, who graduated from the École supérieure de l’Art and Design de Grenoble in 2015. His work questions our relationship with nature through sculpture as well as photography and painting. Thus it reveals our way of interacting with the neighborhoods that surround us, oscillating between preservation and destruction.

Through various techniques, Baptiste Luprieno invites the visitor to question his relationship with nature, of which he is a part and not alien or superior to it.

Between coexistence and destruction, the artist’s work brings nature into a working state, and then protection, whose fragility he reveals. The delicacy with which he handles beautiful roots on canvas, or coral moldings, evokes something majestic.

“By not fully controlling the process, I allowed it to happen [la nature] They express themselves, expand and own space. Then these exposed roots appear to us, almost in intimacy, like the veins of a canvas, frozen in time. Baptist Luprino

“I would like to create an interrogation, a reflection, or simply plant a seed in your mind that can change your approach to the subject and your influence on that perception of your surroundings.” Baptist Luprino
