This year Reunion Island is once again the only DOM island represented at the Pint of Science Festival, which will take place from Monday, May 13 to Wednesday, May 15, 2024. The event is taking place simultaneously in 26 countries and 400 cities around the world, including more 50 in France. During nine evenings held in the cities of Saint-Denis, Saint-Pierre and Saint-Paul, 25 researchers, engineers or PhD students invite you to talk science over a drink in Reunion's bars and restaurants. Each evening, there will be a topic at the heart of the discussions, hosted by two speakers, with quizzes and even giveaways to be won (Image: www.imazpress.com)

For the 11th year in a row, the Pint of Science Festival pushes scientists out of their labs and into everyday settings, to talk about science with the general public. “The aim is to organize the encounter between science and society, and to contribute to the development of scientific culture, all in a friendly atmosphere over a drink,” explains the organization of the festival.
