Climate on time for the Science Festival in Soller
Les petits débrouillards Occitanie is part of the national network of Petits débrouillards, the first collaborative network of scientific and technical culture in France. They provide children, youth and the general public with scientific and technical activities and workshops and participate in social discussions about education and culture. As part of the Science Festival, which was organized throughout France and this year on the theme of climate change, the city council invited them to present a series of activities on the topic of climate. Throughout the week, Arago School students, accompanied by Camille and Noemi, participated in workshops within their school through experiments, games and constructions, and on Wednesday, families and friends were challenged by a collaborative game on climate change, ClimaTic’Tac. It is an escape game born out of a transnational project (Ectadapt) and made available by the administration that deals with climate change in a fun way around four tables representing the different components of Catalonia: the sea, the mountains, the plain and the city. By solving puzzles, the idea, in addition to raising awareness, is to find adaptation and resilience solutions to better coexist with this climate change.
