“Chez Charly”, a new bar with a cellar in Grand-Champ – Grand-Champ
Romuald Galerme, former manager of a nightclub in Vannes, took over the management of Chez Charly, a bar and cellar that opened its doors at the end of 2022, at 51, avenue Saint-Yves, in the former building of the SSIAD.
Chez Charly, there is a wine cellar with craft beers, whiskeys, strong alcohols and their own wines. But also a bar with 80 seats, where the customer can choose between different atmospheres, from the high bar to the side of the cocoon, the plates of aperitifs or entertainment such as concerts…. The goal is to provide a place for sharing and conviviality, the home of friends. The last part of the activity, hiring beer dispensers that match events, individuals. Chez Charly also rents out tents.
Why is Shi’s name Charlie? Romain Galerme explains that his grandfather, a warm, extroverted man, poet and painter in his free time, Frank Lucieur painted his mural on the wall. The exterior decoration is the work of the letterpress painter Tristan Gesert.
