Calmont. Closer to the Pyrenees by Gaston Truck

The science tour of the Pyrenees, in other words “Gaston the truck”, will be located in the backyard of the municipal media library L’Autan des Mots, rue Mazères, on Saturday August 27 from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 a.m.:30 p.m., with support From the Regional Council of Occitanie, the Adour-Garonne Water Agency, the Massif Police Station, the AXA Foundation and local partners, the Pyrenees Science Tour is not a Rocket Science”, which has a common goal of highlighting the natural heritage and identity of the Pyrenees. He is currently continuing his summer tour and will stop at Calmont, having already visited many cities in Occitanie.The program for this day is open to all, activities, challenges, experiences, discussions and exhibitions on water, grazing, biodiversity, climate change … proposed by the animators of the association “Les Petits Débrouillards d’Occitanie”.

As Malicia Besnard, Scientific Moderator of the Science Tour, notes, “It’s a great opportunity to discover and promote the Pyrenees’ immense natural resources, but also their formidable weaknesses.
