“We’ve done really well since we were 22, I think it was Caleb Clark. Then I went to clean the duck and it was disinfected. I got up and then I went to scratch. I thought I won a penalty, I heard a whistle and then I felt a force hitting my knee to the side. It ruptured. Already an MCL (collateral ligament) so I kind of knew how it felt. I knew right away. It hurt a little bit actually and when I got up to test it myself my knee collapsed inward. That’s what happened the first time I did it, so I thought it was MCL.
His goal now is to go back in time to be able to play in the 2023 World Cup.
“I’m starting to feel more comfortable in the team, I’ve played seven out of eight games and it’s been great to feel involved every week and even coming off the bench was fantastic… This injury comes at a difficult time. It will be a huge challenge for me. I would like to be back in a matter of time.” nine months “.
