A surfer’s worst nightmare has been immortalized in a terrifying photo. (Illustrative image)
Animals – Photographer Jordan Anast may have captured a snapshot of his life last weekend from St. Onover Beach, halfway between Los Angeles and San Diego, California. During an annual competition, he manages to capture a large group Shark White as he jumped out of the water behind a rival at full power (Look at the picture below).
What an exciting 24 hours have passed since this photo was posted., responded to his Instagram account Jordan Anast. This is it “Constant media coverage and my phone, email, text and website just keeps on exploding.”
With this great white shark perfectly positioned in the background, almost completely out of the water, “It’s a shot I’ll never get again.”And the . saidOrange County Registerwho thought at first to see Big dolphin. “It looks like ‘Sharknado’, it doesn’t look real.”
A well-known breeding ground for great white sharks
The photographer estimates that over the years he’s taken about a million photos of this popular California surf spot, before taking the photo last Saturday around 11am.
The protected Saint Onover Beach is a well-known breeding ground for great white sharks.
The report recalls stories about great white sharks from decades ago, including two famous sharks, Fluffy and Bumper, that lived in the area for a while.Orange County Register.
This isn’t the first time a shark has jumped out of the water during a surfing competition. In 2019, it happened at the USA Surf competition in Lower Trestles, just north of San Onofre Beach. In 2021, the WSL Finals were interrupted when a shark leaped into the sky near the surfers.
