A place of information open to everyone

In order to strengthen its local public services presence, Wassy now has Espace France Services (EFS) which opened its doors on Monday 6 May at mid-morning.

This new service, which has sparked municipal council discussions on several occasions, is now open seven days a week, from Monday to Friday.

On site, two receptionists, Léopoldine Cornevin and Lisa Verdière, will guide users and assist them with their administrative procedures.

The assistance provided will be at the request of each person, either direct and immediate assistance, or through referral to one of the specialized services. Currently, the tax service will only be on site every Thursday, from 9am to 12pm and from 1pm to 4pm.

Planned developments according to requests

Other services, such as CAF, health insurance, pension funds and many others, are scheduled to be established soon within Espace France services. To this end, a secret room has been created and will be available to services and the public so that discussions can be held in complete confidentiality. As the receptionists explain, the goal is for every person who enters Espace France services to leave with an answer.

Service to sectarian residents

For Laure Verdière, Small Towns of Tomorrow facilitator, each EFS has its own personality and evolves according to requests from users. In this sense, if requests are repeated, training workshops can be organized.

To complement the system already in place, it is planned to create a digital advisor position. However, while waiting for this creation, users will have at their disposal a computer terminal that will allow those who wish to carry out their administrative procedures.
