He is back but has yet to find his way to victory. Mansour Al-Barnawi returns to the octagon on Saturday at Bellator 299 in Dublin. The Frenchman lost to 26-year-old New Zealander Jay Jay Wilson. After the three rounds, the judges unanimously decided that the New Zealander had won.
The second defeat in a row for Al-Barnawi
His last fight dates back to May 12, during the Bellator 296 main event at the Accor Hotel Arena in Bercy. Mansour Al-Barnawi lost in the quarter-finals of the million-dollar tournament to Brent Primus by unanimous decision of the judges after five rounds. A giant fight at the end of which, in the event of victory, he could come a little closer to fighting against the current lightweight champion, Usman Nurmagomedov, cousin of the legend Khabib.

For his big comeback, Mansour Al-Barnawi meets JJ Wilson in Dublin. The Frenchman lost again by unanimous decision of the judges (29-28, 29-28, 29-28). This is another poor performance for the Frenchman. Al-Barnawi suffered an arm lock at the end of the fight, which likely confirmed the jury’s decision. The first two rounds were very close between the two men.
This is his sixth defeat in his career out of 26 matches, and the second in a row. JJ Wilson signs his 10th win.
