Forza Horizon 5: Is Mexico Upset With the Xbox Series X Trailer? | Xbox One

Forza Horizon 5 is definitely one of the most awaited games on Xbox right now. Although Microsoft has not officially announced the game, it was announced this year during the Xbox Conference at E3 2021 that gamers are hoping for. Rumors of the past few days indicated Mexico as a new destination, and it’s possible that Microsoft has already given us a glimpse …

Has the Xbox Series X really sparked Forza Horizon 5?

It was December 13, 2019. Microsoft surprised everyone by officially announcing the Xbox Series X, and unveiling its design to the world as well as some new technical characteristics.

The video highlighted some of the major Xbox franchises and saw a specific Halo Infinite example, but also a full speed racing car that points directly to Forza. The video is still available below, and if we talk about it again today, it’s because at that time it was probably the first teaser for the new Forza Horizon 5 game.

Jeff Grubb and Jez Corden are official, and Forza Horizon 5 must take players to Mexico. Based on this assumption, players wondered if the game actually featured in this popular video below. We’ve revisited this trailer frame by frame, and the idea might not be far-fetched.

Cactus, canyon, flowers … that fit Mexico

The Forza portion of the video begins with creating a world (possibly using photogrammetry) made of rocks and stones. But the next few seconds clearly shows an arid landscape of aloe vera.

Then the video continues and then it unveils a bigger place that introduces us to the valley and the mountains, which can also stick to certain landscapes of Mexico. We find aloe vera again.

Then the video passes over a body of water that could also stick to Mexico, and then very quickly passes over the purple-yellow blossoms in the middle.

We wanted to see if this flower could give an insight into Mexico as well, and we came across the Mexican Passiflora, also known as Passiflora officinale (Passiflora incarnata) or Mexican passion flower.

The name sounds evocative, and after some research, we discovered that it was specifically a flower that is native to the southeastern United States and Mexico. Moreover, the Mexican passion flower is a climbing plant … and the next plan in the video shows us the flower is well displayed hanging on the rocks.

The rest of the video, you know, because we see the red car rolling at full speed into the canyon with the mountains in the background. If Mexico is impressive in this video, it is very likely that it is the landscapes that we find in northern Mexico here, for example, Cooper Canyon In the Chihuahua area. When we searched for images of this area, some of them could perfectly match the type of semi-desert landscape found in the Xbox Series X commercial video with Forza.

Are we seeing a lot of coincidences between this video and Mexico now that the rumors about this country are so urgent? Feel free to share with us in the comments or in Disagreement !
