'Major Outage': Xbox Services Unavailable
On Tuesday, July 2, various Xbox services fell victim to a major outage across all of its consoles and platforms.
It's been a complicated Tuesday evening for Microsoft, to say the least. Since 8:30 p.m., various Microsoft services related to Xbox have been experiencing what the company has described as a “major” outage. Her site is dedicated to technical issues..

This is about account connection features, so you can connect to your Xbox and Microsoft account not only on Xbox Series X and S, Xbox One, and Xbox 360, but also on Xbox.com, the Xbox app on Windows, or cloud gaming on the Xbox Cloud Gaming platform (from the web, iOS, Android, or via the PC app), as well as Game Pass.
“You may not be able to sign in to your Xbox profile,” Microsoft wrote. “Features that require sign-in, such as most games, apps, and social activities, will not be available.”
As a direct result of this major outage, it is not possible to play online as this requires connecting to your Xbox account.
However, you can continue to play various games that are already installed offline and do not require an internet connection.
Microsoft has not provided details on when this issue will be resolved.
