The Conques-Marcillac recruitment space, co-chaired by Cathy Gillet and François Bessis, held its annual general meeting in the presence of local elected officials and several partners.

In 2023, the structure served 335 job seekers in all their diversity: job seekers, employees undergoing retraining or looking for additional work, self-employed, newcomers, students, retirees.

The recruitment site was in contact with 140 local employers: companies, local authorities, associations as well as individual employers. 202 offers were processed, 45% of which were carried out by direct contact. The staffing activity was also significant as the Adel Al-Wasita association, supported by the recruitment space, provided 13,144 hours of work for job seekers in the area, to which must be added the 7,055 hours from the temporary recruitment company Adel Interim. The report highlights that “These added hours correspond to the activity of a company employing 12 full-time employees, i.e. 21,6,027 euros net wages paid locally.” .

In agreement with the administration, the job centre also supports RSA beneficiaries (12 people left the system this year). 2023 Training will also be transferred to Marcillac on self-sufficient professions, a forum for the promotion of professions in this sector that offers job opportunities but also offers the possibility of borrowing an electrically assisted bicycle if necessary. “Provide a local service, be as close as possible to the needs and provide a personalized response.” The slogan of this association, which celebrates its twentieth anniversary this year, remains. “The business area, which has a solid position in the community territory and is in direct contact with the reality of rural areas, is a key player that closely links the social approach and economic development,” The co-chairs reiterated in conclusion.
