The Asus Vivobook 17X N3704VA-AU116W is aimed at those who want to equip themselves with a large and versatile laptop with high performance in terms of multimedia-oriented processor.

Demanding users will be pleased with the good overall power provided by this Ultrabook with 16GB of RAM, an Intel Raptor Lake Core i9-13900H processor with 14 hybrid cores, and an integrated Iris Xe graphics unit.

And since processing is much faster with this core than with 8GB of DDR4/5 plus a classic quad/hexa processor, creatives will appreciate it.
We feel the difference most in areas that require intensive RAM and CPU resources and take advantage of multiple cores, such as video editing or photo editing.

However, there is no graphics acceleration here, since there is no dedicated graphics card on board.
All the graphics are taken care of by the Iris Xe graphics unit included in the Core i9. Concretely, we can therefore view photos and videos but also play light games.

Asus has clearly entrusted storage to an SSD, here with a high capacity of 1000GB able to hold loads of programs and files including why not personal production.

Remember, an SSD provides much better resiliency and responsiveness on a daily basis than a hard drive because it is much faster. As a bonus, they offer the advantage of being silent, less power consuming and more shock resistant.

In practice, starting/stopping, processing, and running applications is faster with an SSD than with a hard drive, and you can access your game cards online more quickly.

Finally, despite being relatively thin and light for a 17-inch, this large format is not the most portable by nature. Autonomy is around 5 hours on battery life in light use for this versatile laptop that gets hot and makes itself heard when pressed hard (such as with treatments).
