Rugby World Cup 2023: New Zealand winger Emoni Narawa withdraws from the entire World Cup finals
Young New Zealand winger Emoni Narawa is forced to withdraw from the Rugby World Cup (8 September – 28 October). His back was hurt again.
New pack for all blacks. After Sipho Rees, George Power, Braydon Enor (knee to three), Joe Moody (insufficient recovery from ankle injury) and Ethan Blackadder (quadriceps) withdrew before the start of the competition, winger Emoni Narawa will withdraw. Added to this long list.

According to information received fromUltimate rugbyThe team confirmed that the 24-year-old injured his back again at the end of a training session this week at their base camp in Lyon. Scans revealed a pinched intervertebral disc which ruled him out for the rest of the tournament.

At the moment, this package has not yet been made official by the All Blacks and the name of his replacement is not yet known. This is a tough blow for the New Zealanders as Narawa was coming off a good season with the Chiefs in which he scored 8 tries in 13 Super Rugby matches.
