How to use the new 3D navigation?

Maps just got better, and everyone can now enjoy the immersive 3D view. This new feature allows you to view a 3D view of buildings nearby, or on the path of your next route. This option is called “Global View”, it brings more realism to your travels and is very easy to use.

To activate this new feature, simply update Google Maps by downloading the latest version at this address. With version 11.123.0103, the app provides a small gap at the bottom left when playing a track. If the function does not appear, you can check in the application whether 3D building rendering is activated. You have to go to Settings > Navigation settings > View map > View 3D buildings.

The short presentation will help you navigate the comprehensive presentation maps. Currently, this option is only available in a few cities around the world. In France, only Paris is on the list, and Google is expected to introduce this option to other cities in the future.

Introduced at I/O 2023, Immersive View is designed to work whether you're on foot, on a bike, or in a car. In addition to the French capital, it is available in Amsterdam, Barcelona, ​​Dublin, Florence, Las Vegas, London, Los Angeles, Miami, New York, Paris, San Francisco, San Jose, Seattle, Tokyo and Venice. It can be used on Android and iOS.
