The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

Hello gang! If you've ever wondered what The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim would look like with over 2,000 mods, but you're too afraid your computer will blow up, don't worry, because one YouTuber has done it for you. Spoiler: No PC bloat, but the game is breathtaking.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim was released over a decade ago, and with The Elder Scrolls 6 on the horizon, it's unlikely we'll see a remaster of the 2011 RPG. However, with a talented modding community, it's possible to create a Skyrim Visually it looks like it was just released this week, and that's what YouTuber Digital Dreams did.

Take a look at some funny moments from Skyrim below!

The video in question gives us a glimpse of what Skyrim would look like if it ran at 8K resolution with NVIDIA DLSS 3 Frame Generation and over 2,000 mods. As you can probably imagine, this isn't something every gamer can achieve without making their computer look like a plane in trouble, but if you can, it will make the game completely unrecognizable.

Additionally, Digital Dreams used PureDark's DLSS 3 mod, which is a Patreon-exclusive mod, meaning you'll have to pay to get it. To further complicate matters, Digital Dreams has not yet produced a full list of the mods it used, but is instead sharing a list of Novilus mods, which it also notes have had “issues.” Therefore, we do not know what these 2000 modifications were and we cannot guess how he obtained the final results.

Despite these small hiccups, it's clear that The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim was meant to run at 8K, because the results are stunning. Thirteen minutes of gameplay provided by the YouTuber gives us a glimpse of the stunning graphics, improved UI, and smoother operation.
