After their defeat to the Blues…the All Blacks crush Namibia (71-3)

There was nothing the Namibians could do. New Zealand won by a wide margin (71-3), Friday, September 15, during the second day of Group A, winning the offensive bonus point in the process. The All Blacks team, which suffered two consecutive losses to South Africa (35-7) immediately before the World Cup, and then to the Blues (27-13) at the opening of the World Cup, won by scoring eleven tries. It now occupies second place in Group A (with five points) behind France (8 points), which suffered a victory on Thursday evening over a brave Uruguay (27-12).

The next meeting is with Italy for New Zealand. The All Blacks will face Italy on September 29 in their next match, before playing against Uruguay on October 5. Namibia will meet France XV on September 21, then Uruguay on September 27. Namibia is still seeking its first victory in the World Cup after 23 consecutive defeats.

The All Blacks fell behind by 14 points in the second half after the yellow card received by De Groot (72), which finally turned into red after an intervention from the dugout.
