“The Book Takes Air”, a new shared space
Lorcy Leeves. New common space. The Early Childhood Network, Les Décidées, the Festival Committee, the Nord Bocage, the Youth Committee and the Chênaie de Lévis responded to the call of the Social Center for the “Neighbors Syndicate Festival”.
“A joyful banquet between the volunteers and staff who share the premises of the Associational Center allows everyone to meet and get to know each other better, but also to support each other,” explains Denis Alexalin and Anne-Marie Davost, Vice President and Head of the Social Centre.
In the same spirit, each association gave a helping hand to decorate the new common space “Le Livre pris l’air”, installed under the terrace. The paintings were repurposed, and shelving donated by the college was installed, along with a small table and a few armchairs.
Several hundred books are freely available to everyone.
