Theme for 2023: Water, a major issue of the 21st century
Water, a global public good essential to life and climate regulation, both in terms of resources and ecology, is a topic of concern on the blue planet in the context of population growth and climate change. So much so that the United Nations has placed it, along with sustainable development, at the center of the International Decade of Action 2018-2028 and in the goals of the 2030 Agenda.
