Lazy weekends, science fairs, fairs… What to do in Le Havre this weekend?

Saint-Michel fair, theater festival, weekend about comics, Plantes en fête and science festival … With all that, it is impossible not to find something to do in Havre (Seine Maritime) Saturday 8 or Sunday 9 October 2022.

The third edition of the weekend to a bubble

In its third edition, Bubble weekend Calls writer Lisa Mandel. On October 8 and 9, go to the Niemeyer Library. The proposed exhibition includes:

• Presenting a selection of pages from Lisa Mandel’s latest comic book “Re-establishment” on mental health recovery, as well as all pages of the comic strip “A Model Year”, published in 2020;
• installation, by reconstructing the offices of the three authors through the ages;
• Presentation of the works of authors invited by Lisa Mandel based on the principle of absolutism (Elodie Shanta and Charles Berberian).

Also planned is a perpetuation of Uzine, the fanzinothèque of Le Havre, supplemented by a large loan of fanzines from the fanzinothèque of Poitiers. Meetings including a roundtable on the living conditions of comic book authors will take place on Saturday, October 8 at 4 p.m., with Edith, Reeve Rip and Jerome Siro. It is at 5:30 pm autographs (with on-site sale). An unpublished comic strip by Lisa Mandel about creating her own publishing house, “les éditions Exemplaire”, will be presented to the public at the event.

Drones and men

for 3^e Respectively, the Port of Le Havre Center opens its doors to Fête de la science. This year, drones, in service of the coastal city, were at the center of the events and activities presented. Mobile robots have many uses and operate in all environments: land, air and water.

This event aims to reveal the types of drones, their relative application cases, but also to deal with and experiment. Several dates are offered to suit everyone, from ages 7 to 77. Events run from Saturday 8 October to Thursday 13 October. All programming is detailed over here. in this document.

San Michele exhibition continues
