GeForce RTX 4090 Founders Edition, demo appears a few hours before its announcement
In a few hours, Nvidia’s “GeForce Beyond” event will begin. Senior Brand Manager, Jensen Huang, will take center stage at GTC. The official announcement of the next generation of GeForce RTX graphics cards from the GeForce RTX 40 series “Ada lovelace” is expected.
This new set of solutions for players will consist of several references. There are plans for custom cards and signed versions of Nvidia known for a few years under the name Founders Edition.
It is precisely one of her references that has just appeared. We have our first ever graphics card offering, the new performance benchmark, the GeForce RTX 4090 Founders Edition.
At first glance, the map doesn’t introduce any major design changes. It retains the dual-flow heatsink that was introduced with the RTX 30 series Founders Edition. We have a fan on one side of the card that draws in cool air to push it through thin aluminum fins and a second unit that in turn ejects it.
The card is great because it requires three expansion slots to install. It is also equipped with fans that are larger than the fans of the RTX 4090 Founders Editions.
This point was already confirmed when the GeForce RTX 4080 Founders Edition image was published a few weeks ago.
The GeForce RTX 4090 is rumored to feature an AD102 GPU that brings 16,384 CUDA cores to life and is accompanied by 24GB of GDDR6X, all with a default TDP of 450W. This flagship model will be announced alongside 16GB and 12GB RTX 4080 cards built around AD103 and AD104 GPUs.
At the moment we have no information on pricing and release date.
