Bombing continues in the Donbass and in the towns near the Zaporizhia nuclear power plant

Russian artillery fire again hit areas on the right bank of the Dnieper, opposite the Zaporizhia Nuclear Power Plant. Valentin Reznichenko, the governor of the Dnipropetrovsk region, said that several strikes at night from Saturday to Sunday deprived several districts of Nikopol of electricity. The missile fire also damaged dozens of residences in Marhanets, according to Evin Yevtushenko, head of the Nikopol military administration.

A member of the city council and the acting mayor, Anatoly Kortyev, said that the city of Zaporizhia, about 40 kilometers north of the nuclear power plant (located in the city of Innerhodar), was also hit by gunfire during the night, injuring two people.

Regional Governor Pavlo Kirilenko said that in eastern Ukraine, where Russian and separatist forces are still trying to control Donetsk Oblast, the main cities of Kramatorsk and Sloviansk were shelled, but no casualties were reported.
