Eduardo Mortara hits a double kick in Marrakech

The Swiss (Venturi) won the Marrakech E-Prix on Saturday and topped the world championship after ten out of sixteen rounds.

Eduardo Mortara beat Portugal’s Antonio Felix da Costa (DS-Techeetah) and New Zealand’s Mitch Evans (Jaguars). France’s Jean-Eric Vergne (DS-Techeetah) finished fourth. The Swiss, who started second on the line behind da Costa, dominated the race and withstood the onslaught of both teams DS-Techeetah. Da Costa even let Virgin pass to try to earn him championship points, but the Frenchman, who injured one of his aerodynamic front guards, had to let him pass before losing third in the final laps.
