Lenovo Tab M10 Plus (3rd generation) review: A small tablet for the family

Aesthetically, we don’t have much to say about the Tab M10 Plus. It features a high-quality finish, close to what Lenovo offers on high-end tablets, such as P12 Pro. The back is two-tone and two-material, with a large aluminum portion and a rough plastic strip. It’s so elegant it’s hard to guess that this tablet is under $300 at first glance.

Up front, it’s an eye-catching 10.6-inch panel. It is surrounded by a black bezel that is narrower than the previous model and there is a front photo module at its right edge. The tablet therefore prefers use in landscape mode, as is now often the case with manufacturers relying as much on entertainment-oriented use as it is on business. A camera placed in landscape mode is well suited for video conferencing, for example. The screen occupies about 85% of the total surface, which remains comfortable, even with a stylus. M10 Plus is already compatible with the second generation of precision styluses.

The tablet features the volume controls on the right, the start button above as well as a USB-C port and a 3.5mm mini-jack on the bottom edge. It also benefits from 4 speakers and enhanced Dolby Atmos stereo sound.

My voice

The headphone jack is amazing. It provides excellent power, has medium distortion and dynamic range. All the best do you think? Well, no! This beautiful picture is marred by a disastrous stereo rendering. It’s quite a shame, but not necessarily embarrassing for the use that the tablet will be used for.
