Large house fire in Pointe-a-Pitre
Not far from Fonds Laugier, in Pointe-à-Pitre, was the scene of a large fire that broke out in a house made of wood and sheet metal. The fire was likely to reach other nearby homes. The firefighters got there.

A large fire broke out in a house near the department of Laugier Fund, in Pointe-à-Pitre; Specifically on the street Léonie Mêlas.
About two dozen men from the Fire and Rescue Service (SDIS) in Guadeloupe were quickly dispatched to the scene. The firefighters had to do a lot to overcome this disaster, in a populated and overcrowded urban area.
But they succeeded, around 4:40 p.m., after about two hours of fighting the fire, with plenty of resources, including three maneuvering spears.
The only victim is a volunteer firefighter. He felt unwell and his colleagues put in oxygen.

An entire low house made of wood and sheet metal caught fire, and the flames had a high risk of spreading to four or five homes in the neighborhood, where mixing is important.
Finally, a two-story house built of cement and sheet metal was hit.
