LOU Rugby is trying to recruit Sally Frances!

It’s no longer a secret to anyone: LOU Rugby is on the cusp of losing their New Zealand three-quarters player Charlie Ngatay.

The 31-year-old had given his word to the Lyon leaders to extend his contract for an additional season until June 2023.

Finally, the latter decided not to honor his word and committed to Irish club Leinster for the upcoming seasons.

It was a very bad surprise for the Lyon captains who were dependent on the services of their center for the 2022/2023 season.

Now, Leon is looking for a position with three quarters of experience. According to information from regional newspaper Le Progrès, recruits from the LOU are considering enlisting Biarrot Francis Saili.

Problem: The 31-year-old talented center is under contract with Biarritz Olympique until June 2024. In addition, the New Zealander does not have an exit clause allowing him to join another club, even if the BO is relegated to Pro D2.

It has also been pointed out that the President of Biarritz Olympique, Jean-Baptiste Aldyge, will seek a wholly disproportionate financial compensation for relinquishing his position.

Barring an unexpected reversal of the situation, Francis Sayle must continue his career at Biarritz and LOU will have to turn to the foreign tracks to find a nugget in the center.
