New Zealand Rugby Union offers a public apology

The New Zealand Rugby Federation wanted to pay tribute to women on Women’s Day.

Through a message posted on his social networks, the New Zealand Rugby Union expressed its desire to honor the women.

In this message several All-Blacks players appeared along with their wives.

But this honor quickly sparked controversy, and for two reasons.

Reason #1: The Blacks Ferns did not appear at the Women’s Honor.

Reason 2: All-Blacks Sevu Reece and Aaron Smith are filmed alongside their wives in this New Zealand publication. However, Sevo Reese was convicted of assaulting his partner in 2018 while Aaron Smith cheated on his wife in Christchurch airport toilets in 2016.

After many fans returned, the New Zealand Rugby Union decided to apologize and compensate. Extract:
