Rugby, buona partenza per i gemelli Schiavi

Rugby, a good start for the Schiavi twins

The official rugby season for twins Flavio and Gabriel Schiavi begins in Colorno in the best way possible. The two players from Civitavecchia, who moved from Cus Milano Rugby to the 1975 Under-19 team Colorno Rugby on loan from Rugby Roma Olimpic 1930, began their adventure in the top 10 Emilian club in the best possible way.

After winning the Lecco Championship and at the same age as Rovigo in the pre-season friendlies, Colorno were victorious on Sunday 31 to 19 against the same age as Leon Piacenza on the first day of the U19 National Championship. Gabriel’s twin, on the field from the first minute as a half-scrum. Still another twin, Flavio, is now on improvement from a hand injury he sustained while working out. For him the gym has an outstanding job in light of his return to the field in the coming weeks.

“We are glad to be in Colorno where we have integrated perfectly. Regional life is obviously much quieter than in Rome or Milan, but we who were born and raised in Civitavecchia found us after all. After all, in addition to training throughout the week and preparing for university exams, We don’t have much time for anything else, Gabrielle says.

“In the evenings, after coming back from training, we don’t really want to go out and if we do, we spend it with our teammates or we go to Parma, maybe to watch the Zebras. But often we stay on the field at the club house where we can find some athletes from Zebras or the women’s national team, as it happened during the World Qualifiers matches in New Zealand or of course our first team which, I would like to remember that Sunday beat the Fiamme Oro at home, in that stadium where Gabriel and I played a lot … In short, we live a quiet life We dedicate ourselves entirely to sports. After all, this is what we have been doing since childhood,” concludes Flavio, who scratches his hand to return to the field. They are only expected to return home to Civitavecchia for the Christmas holidays.
