One of New Zealand’s most potent jumps trainer-jockey partnerships, Paul Nelson and Aaron Kuru, have picked up this winter exactly where they left off in 2017. Leading the way for the pair so far in 2018 has been star hurdler The Shackler, who has added victories in the Waikato and K S Browne Hurdles to his first Prestige Jumping Race win in last year’s Wellington Hurdles.
