A few headaches over jockeys has done nothing to dim confidence in the Kawi camp ahead of Saturday’s Group One sprint at Te Rapa. Kawi’s New Plymouth trainer Allan Sharrock expects the BCD Group Sprint (1400 metres) to fall the way of the good-looking son of Savabeel. Kawi’s most recent elite win in the Captain Cook Stakes (1600m) at Trentham last December saw him post his seventh top-flight success, equalling the number of Group One wins posted by champion mare Seachange…
