Sunday’s $15,000 John F Grylls Memorial Classic at Waipa has drawn an international line-up, with three runners bred in the United Kingdom or Ireland. Six-year-old Yorkshire Dales is an Irish-bred son of Vale Of York. He began his career with victories at Nottingham and Newmarket, then finished midfield in the Britannia Stakes at Royal Ascot.
