Ryan Elliot celebrates Platinum Command’s Winter Cup win with trainer Lisa Latta

Apprentice jockey Ryan Elliot has made a momentous start to the 2018-19 racing season, reaching 100 career wins and starting on his second century with victory in the time-honoured Gr. 3 Winter Cup at Riccarton Park. Elliot’s milestone winner was Sure Bet in a maiden race at Tauranga last Wednesday, fittingly trained and part-owned by his employer Graeme Rogerson.
