The first yearling sale at the new William Inglis Riverside complex has been hailed a success with a record-breaking Book One continuing on to the three days of selling for Book Two of the Classic Sale.
The multi-million dollar establishment at Warwick Farm opened for business on Saturday night and the sale ended on Tuesday.
With an average of A$44,914, clearance rate of 88 per cent and a gross of A$7,051,500, the gross for the four days was A$55,518,000.
