Prince Oz has maintained his unbeaten record in the South Island with his fifth consecutive win.

The son of O’Reilly broke his maiden for Raymond Connors, and he hasn’t looked back since the Wanganui trainer, whose family own the strapping gelding, sent him to Neill Ridley’s stable.

Prince Oz carried 61 kilograms to a comfortable victory in yesterday’s Rural Transport Handicap at Ashburton where he is undefeated in three appearances.
