Windsor Park Stud shuttle stallion Charm Spirit sired his first Northern Hemisphere winner overnight.
The Mark Johnston-trained Diviner was making her second appearance when she distanced her rivals at Wolverhampton, England, over 1000 metres.
Charm Spirit won six of his nine starts, including the Gr. 1 Queen Elizabeth II Stakes, the Gr. 1 Prix du Moulin de Longchamp and the Gr. 1 Prix Jean Prat before his retirement.
The son of Invincible Spirit has been well-received in New Zealand since shuttling his first season to Windsor Park in Cambridge in 2015.
