Course Proper. Track Heavy. Rail Outside. On a fine Autumn morning, grass gallops were carried out on a heavy track. Time honours were narrowly taken out by Royal Empress (Harris) and Belle Tem (Sharrock).  They worked over 1000m, the last 600m in 39.0.
