Last year’s Hawke’s Bay Hurdles winner Kipkeino indicated he is right on target again for this Saturday’s Hastings feature with a strong solo workout at this morning’s Hastings track session. Fast work was carried out on the plough (soft) and wide out on the No.1 grass (heavy).  A penetrometer reading was taken on the course proper during the session and came up as a heavy-10.
