Capucine and Karisto should both produce good fresh up runs at Te Rapa this weekend, after encouraging final work at Cambridge this morning. Galloping on a dead No 2 grass with the markers out 6 metres, Capucine and Karisto matched strides from the 1000m in 1:05.2, sprinting the final 600m in 35.4.  Both have had the benefit of recent trials and should perform well in a fresh state. Hastings candidate Deals In Heels and stablemate Tomelilla, who races at Te Rapa, worked well together …
